Bandi Singhs — The Prisoners Punjab Remembers

A name-by-name, source-by-source record of the Sikh prisoners at the centre of Punjab's longest-running release campaign — who is inside, where, since when, and what the record actually shows.

Registry as of October 2026 · Every entry shows its sources

SGPC's core list — 1 on death row + 8 life convicts, all still in custody

The wider named lists — SGPC's shortlist of 21 (Mar 2023) and advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur's 22 life convicts (2019), shown as a range, never as a single total

The Government of India publishes no list under this name — “Bandi Singh” is not a legal category
