Bihar BJP president Sanjay Saraogi told reporters the alliance had already secured three seats, or four counting an Independent, and was hopeful of a clean sweep. 'We are fully confident that the NDA will win all eight seats. The NDA has already won three of these seats, or four if we include the Independent. We expect to perform very well, and it would not be surprising if we win all eight seats,' Saraogi said, according to Nation Press. He said the elections involve teacher and graduate voters and that the alliance had worked to address their concerns.

JD(U) national spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan echoed the claim, attributing the alliance's expected performance to the work of JD(U) national president and former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over the past 20 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity, and the work of the state government under Samrat Choudhary's leadership in a short period, Nation Press reported.
Polling across the eight constituencies — four graduates' and four teachers' seats, with 150 candidates in the fray — was completed on Friday. Election Commission data cited in earlier reporting put turnout at 74.55 per cent in the teachers' constituencies and 43.87 per cent in the graduates' constituencies.

Separately, RJD leader and Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has expressed confidence that his party would win all eight seats and has alleged electoral irregularities, including fake voters and use of government machinery — allegations reported earlier and not independently verified. Counting on October 27 will decide the eight seats.
