Eight cases against the main accused, police say
Police records show eight criminal cases against Deepak across Gurugram, Sonipat, Rewari and Delhi, covering alleged offences including murder, attempt to murder, robbery, dacoity, theft, kidnapping for ransom and Arms Act violations. Police said Deepak was in jail from 2019 to 2025 in murder and other serious cases and came out on High Court bail in December 2025.
During questioning, police alleged, Deepak said he had planned to form his own gang after his release and had brought in Rahul and other associates. Police alleged the pistols were bought for Rs 3 lakh from Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh, amid money disputes with some people, and that Deepak had also allegedly supplied weapons to the main accused in a robbery and snatching case in Delhi's Dwarka area. These are police allegations; the case is under investigation.
ACP Crime Indraveer shared the details of the operation at a press conference, Atal Hind reported. Police said further legal action and investigation into the alleged network are continuing.
