Dashcam footage of the moments around the crash shows the black SUV losing control and striking a Hyundai Aura, triggering a chain reaction that caused the taxi to flip over in the middle of the road. The impact was strong enough to deploy the airbags in at least one of the vehicles involved, and several vehicles were badly damaged.

Bystanders at the scene pulled the trapped taxi driver out of the wreckage and took him to a nearby hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition. No fatalities were recorded in the incident.

Local authorities and DLF patrolling teams reached the spot shortly after the collision to manage the scene and restore traffic, and a crane was used to clear the damaged vehicles from the road, which had been blocked by the wreckage.

Police reviewing dashcam and CCTV footage

Preliminary police findings indicate the vehicles were travelling at high speed when the SUV driver lost control, leading to the pile-up. Officers are reviewing the circulating dashcam footage and local CCTV recordings to reconstruct the sequence of events and identify the driver responsible, and the investigation is ongoing.
