In Mumbai, a Taj hotel is planned at Terminal 2. Lucknow will have a Vivanta and a Ginger hotel, Ahmedabad a Taj and a Vivanta that are in advanced stages of development, and Guwahati a Taj, a Gateway and a Ginger hotel. The Hindu BusinessLine reported that the partnership will add 2,000 rooms over the next three to four years, and that this is the Adani Group's second such tie-up for hotel development on airport-owned land in five months — in May, the group partnered with IHG Hotels & Resorts to build five hotels around four airports.
