An Air India Express flight from Visakhapatnam to Bengaluru suffered a bird strike on Monday but landed safely at Kempegowda International Airport, with all 148 passengers on board unharmed, IANS reported.

Flight IX2065 completed its journey despite the incident and was moved to a parking stand after landing. No injuries were reported among passengers or crew.

Following standard safety procedures, ground engineers and technical teams began inspecting the aircraft to assess any possible damage to its structure or engines. BW Travel reported that no damage to the aircraft was reported.

The incident is the latest in a series of bird strikes at Indian airports this month. On October 17, an Emirates flight from Dubai to Delhi encountered a bird strike on arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, according to NDTV, and on October 4 an IndiGo flight from Pune to Hyderabad sustained minor nose damage in a bird strike detected after landing.
