Nagoya: India's para-sprinters added two more medals at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games on Wednesday, as Anubhav Choudhary and Rakeshbhai Bhatt both set personal bests to win bronze in their men's 100m finals, IANS reported, and ESPN's live medal tracker confirmed both podium finishes.

Choudhary finished third in the T35 final in 12.72 seconds, just 0.03 seconds behind silver medallist Idrees Al-Zaidi of Iraq (12.69 seconds, also a personal best), while Iran's Alireza Zare won gold in a Games-record 12.32 seconds, IANS said. Choudhary, from Chhur village near Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, trains in Delhi under Rahul Panwar after earlier coaching under Gaurav Tyagi, the report added.

In the T37 final, Bhatt clocked 11.50 seconds for bronze, behind Saudi Arabia's Ali Alnakhli, who won gold in a Games-record 11.31 seconds, and Indonesia's Saptoyogo Purnomo, who took silver in a season-best 11.35 seconds, IANS reported. Bhatt, from Moti Babariyat village in Gujarat's Bhavnagar district, is the national record holder in the T37 100m and the Asian record holder in the T37 200m, and finished fifth in the men's 100m T38 final at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, according to the report.

The two bronzes took India's tally in track events at the Games to nine medals, including three golds, IANS said.
