Apple Operations India has reported a sharp increase in its financial performance for fiscal year 2026, with total revenue crossing Rs 1,400 crore, a significant jump from the Rs 318 crore reported in FY25, Whalesbook reported, citing the company's filings. The Economic Times' October 26 business brief, summarised by Flash Finance, noted that Apple has begun logging significant revenue from software engineering and global support services in India, with the subsidiary Apple Operations India generating Rs 650 crore in FY26.

A key driver of the growth is the new software development segment, which generated Rs 650 crore in FY26. Previously, this segment had no revenue contribution, the reports said.

By integrating global support, project management and software engineering under one roof, the company is positioning its Indian arm as a critical link in its international operations — a shift from using India mainly for assembly and manufacturing support to leveraging local talent for complex, high-value technical work, the Whalesbook report said.
Apple Operations India is the engineering and services arm covered in these filings. It is distinct from Apple India Private Limited, the sales unit whose revenue crossed Rs 1 lakh crore in FY26 in separate filings reported earlier this month.
