The single biggest spotlight in the batch is a Ministry of Defence contract worth about Rs 770 crore for the Improved Low-Level Light-Weight Radar (LLLR-I), signed in New Delhi in the presence of Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh. The ministry said the indigenously developed radar can detect and track fighter-sized targets as well as mini and micro drones, and can prioritise aerial targets so the Army can counter threats from unmanned aerial systems. The procurement is a step towards indigenisation of air-defence platforms and is expected to support India's defence manufacturing ecosystem, including MSMEs.

BEL's filing does not split the Rs 1,011 crore order-by-order, name individual counterparties for each order, or give delivery schedules and revenue-recognition timelines. Periodic order disclosures of this kind are standard for the company under SEBI's LODR norms and do not amount to a revision of its financial-year guidance.
