Among the services hit are the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul and Rourkela-Jagdalpur trains, most of which stand cancelled between October 29 and November 4, while the departure dates of the Howrah-Jagdalpur Samaleswari Express have also been changed, ANI reported from Rayagada in Odisha.
Which trains are affected
The published list includes train 18515, the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul Night Express, and its return service 18516, both cancelled from October 29 to November 4; the Visakhapatnam-Koraput passenger services 58538 (October 27 to 30) and 58537 (October 28 to 31); the Visakhapatnam-Koraput Intercity services 18512 on October 30 and 18511 on October 31; and the Visakhapatnam-Kirandul passenger services 58501 and 58502 from October 27 to 30.

The Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express will terminate short at Rayagada from October 27 to October 30, and the Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express will originate from Rayagada instead of Jagdalpur from October 28 to October 31, the Railways said.
Passengers have been advised to check their train's status on the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or the Indian Railways website before travelling, as schedules in the cyclone-affected region may change further.
The cancellations add to wider disruption in the region, where railway zones had already cancelled dozens of services, including long-distance trains, as Arnab approached the coast earlier this week.
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Inspector General Narendra Singh Bundela said the cyclone had weakened after entering land and had been downgraded from a very severe cyclonic storm to a severe cyclonic storm, and was expected to lose more intensity by Wednesday evening. Four additional NDRF teams were deployed to Andhra Pradesh as part of the disaster response, he said.
