Mumbai: Dixon Technologies on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 344 crore for the second quarter of FY27, down 48.7 per cent from Rs 670 crore a year earlier, even as revenue from operations surged 46.7 per cent, according to its regulatory filing reported by IANS.

Revenue from operations rose to Rs 21,794 crore in the July-September quarter from Rs 14,855 crore a year earlier, driven by continued growth across the electronics contract manufacturer's businesses. The Hindu BusinessLine's results live blog also recorded Dixon's standalone net profit at Rs 123.44 crore, against Rs 478.53 crore in Q2 of FY26.
At the operating level, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 6.4 per cent to Rs 597 crore from Rs 561 crore a year ago, but the EBITDA margin narrowed to 2.7 per cent from 3.8 per cent, the filing showed.
The biggest drag was other income, which fell sharply to Rs 69 crore from Rs 496 crore in the same quarter last year — a drop of more than Rs 427 crore that wiped out much of the benefit of the strong revenue growth, IANS reported.
Dixon's shares closed 4.25 per cent, or Rs 488, lower at Rs 11,000 on the National Stock Exchange on Friday. In the previous quarter, Q1 of FY27, the company's revenue had grown 21.1 per cent year-on-year to Rs 15,548 crore.
