Dr Reddy's Laboratories reported consolidated net profit of Rs 925 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, down sharply from a year earlier, while total revenue declined 1.5% to Rs 8,671 crore from Rs 8,805 crore a year ago, The Hindu BusinessLine reported on Friday.

Chief Financial Officer M V Narasimham told reporters the results were impacted by a provision of about Rs 240 crore towards inventory and associated costs related to semaglutide active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). He said the company was not expecting a continuation of such provisions in the subsequent quarter.
Growth was also impacted primarily on account of lower lenalidomide revenues in North America, the company said. Excluding lenalidomide in North America, the underlying base business continued to deliver double-digit growth across businesses, excluding Europe and API, supported by favourable currency movements.
Upstox's results coverage also put Dr Reddy's profit at Rs 925 crore for Q2 FY27 and noted the drag from lower lenalidomide revenues in North America.
