The advisory comes amid escalating tensions in the region due to a series of drone and missile attacks targeting civilian infrastructure by Yemen's Houthis, PTI reported. In its fresh advisory, the embassy also asked Indians to take due precautions and, in case of an aerial attack, proceed immediately to the nearest safe place inside a building, away from windows.

The mission also shared the current flight position: Air India and Air India Express flights to and from Riyadh and Dammam remain suspended until November 7, 2026, while services to and from Jeddah remain suspended until October 31, 2026. The Consulate General in Jeddah said its 24x7 control rooms in Jeddah and Makkah continue to assist affected Indians with food, essential medicines and other immediate requirements, and that the missions remain in contact with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and Ministry of Foreign Affairs over visa validity and delayed departures.
