The win followed India's 13-0 rout of Bangladesh in their opener on Tuesday. China, playing a young squad, had lost their opening match 5-4 to Malaysia after leading earlier in that game, Khel Now noted. The six-team round-robin tournament, the ninth edition of the Asian Champions Trophy, runs from October 27 to November 5 across Jalandhar and Mohali in Punjab, and India — five-time winners — are the most successful team in its history.
India move back to the top of the table with the win, the Sportstar report said, and face Japan next on Friday — a side that, like India, has won all its matches so far.
