Operating performance improved even as costs rose. EBITDA grew 8 per cent to Rs 4,089 crore, but the EBITDA margin narrowed by 140 basis points to 22.6 per cent amid commodity inflation. The company maintained its FY27 EBITDA-margin guidance of 22 to 24 per cent, The Hindu BusinessLine reported.

All four business segments grew. Home Care led with 22 per cent underlying sales growth, followed by Beauty and Wellbeing at 16 per cent, while Personal Care and Foods each delivered 9 per cent underlying sales growth, according to the results.

The board declared an interim dividend of Rs 19 per share for FY27. The record date is November 12, 2026, and the dividend will be paid on November 25, 2026, the company said.

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Priya Nair said the 7 per cent volume growth reflected sustained momentum from the company's focus on its brands and go-to-market strength, and that HUL remained anchored to its 'Winning in New India' strategy of competitive, volume-led profit growth, PTI reported. Despite the strong operating numbers, HUL shares fell 1.8 per cent to Rs 1,779.80 on the NSE in morning trade after the results, The Hindu BusinessLine reported.
