The airline will also launch a new daily flight to Kathmandu from NMIA, taking its international network at the airport to 12 destinations between February and July 2027.
To support the international operations, IndiGo will also move the necessary domestic connectivity from CSMIA to NMIA, enabling seamless onward travel for passengers connecting to international flights, the statement said.
AAHL said it has been working to enable the necessary infrastructure at NMIA for a smooth transfer experience between IndiGo's international and domestic services. The companies described the move as the next step in building NMIA as a long-term international hub for the Mumbai region.
