Total demand for the issue had reached around Rs 3.73 lakh crore, including anchor investor interest and bids received during the first two days of public subscription, Dainik News Live reported. Yaani: Rs 3.73 lakh crore means Rs 3,73,000 crore of bids chasing a Rs 30,213-crore issue — more than twelve times the size of the offer in value terms when anchor demand is included.

By the end of Day 2 on October 22, the issue was subscribed more than 5.5 times overall, CNBC-TV18 and Dainik News Live reported. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) led the demand, subscribing 13.29 times their reserved portion and bidding for 65.14 crore shares against 4.9 crore shares on offer, while the non-institutional investor category was subscribed 5.97 times, according to Dainik News Live.

The IPO was fully subscribed within the first 100 minutes on Day 1, which CNBC-TV18 described as the fastest for a mega IPO in India.

Category-wise figures compiled by MyFinBright put the end of Day 2 at 5.40 times overall, with retail investors at 1.55 times and QIBs excluding anchors at 12.87 times — broadly in line with the 5.5-times headline figure reported by CNBC-TV18, with small differences reflecting the time of compilation.

Final subscription numbers will be known after bidding closes on Friday. Subscription levels and grey-market indications do not guarantee listing gains, and investors should read the offer documents before applying, market advisers routinely caution.
