First test after the listing

These are Jio Platforms' first quarterly results as a listed company, coming days after its stock-market debut, which Awaaz Punjab reported earlier this week. Analysts had expected revenue of around ₹40,400 crore for the quarter, so the reported figures landed broadly in line with market expectations.

Jio Platforms houses Reliance's telecom and digital businesses, including Reliance Jio Infocomm, India's largest telecom service provider. What investors watch next is subscriber additions and average revenue per user in the coming quarters.
