The Centre will release the 24th instalment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) on October 30, 2026, transferring Rs 2,000 each directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmer families, Rural Voice and Outlook Money reported. Reports put this round at more than 9.3 crore farmers. One report, citing government figures carried by Amar Ujala, put the transfer at over Rs 18,680 crore for more than 9.34 crore farmers, with the release programme at Bhiladi in Banaskantha district, Gujarat. Awaaz Punjab is presenting those totals as reported figures, as the ministry's own release had not been independently checked in this run.
Under PM-KISAN, eligible landholding farmer families receive Rs 6,000 a year through direct benefit transfer (DBT), in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 released every four months. The previous, 23rd instalment was released on June 20, 2026, when more than Rs 18,880 crore was transferred to over 9.44 crore farmers, the reports said.
What farmers should check before October 30
Farmers must have completed e-KYC to receive the instalment, and their Aadhaar, bank account and land record details must be correct. On the official portal pmkisan.gov.in, under Farmers Corner and Know Your Status, the three indicators to check are Land Seeding, eKYC Done and Aadhaar Bank Seeding — if any shows 'No', the payment may not be credited, Karmactive reported, advising farmers to ask their bank to confirm Aadhaar seeding and NPCI mapping.

e-KYC can be completed through the PM-Kisan mobile app using face authentication, or at a Common Service Centre using biometrics. The PM-Kisan helpline is 155261 and the toll-free number is 1800-115-526, according to the reports. The payment comes during rabi sowing and ahead of Diwali on November 8, a period when many farm families face higher expenses.
