How selection will work

Selection is through a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 100 questions in 120 minutes — 60 questions on basic science, mathematical and analytical capability, 20 on logical capability and 20 on mental reasoning, with one-third of a mark deducted for each wrong answer — followed by a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), document verification and a medical examination. The final merit combines 70 per cent weightage for the CBT and 30 per cent for the CBAT. The application fee is Rs 500 for general candidates, of which Rs 400 is refunded on appearing in the CBT, and Rs 250 for women, transgender, ex-servicemen, SC, ST, minority and economically backward class candidates, refunded on appearing in the CBT.
