An hit back 21-11 in the second and, after a 9-9 deadlock in the decider, won six straight points to open a 15-9 lead and close out her fourth French Open title.

Speaking after the match, Sindhu said playing the top athletes demands full intensity on every point. 'When you're playing with the top athletes, you have to be at your 100% every single point. I know it's not going to be easy and you have to fight for every point. That's what we were doing,' she said, as per the Badminton Association of India (BAI), ANI reported. She added there was still room to improve in the tournaments ahead.
