Alongside the results, the board approved acquiring 100 per cent of Waaree Green Data Centers Pvt Ltd and its two wholly owned subsidiaries, Aurovault Data Centers Pvt Ltd and Sunstar Data Centers Pvt Ltd, from subsidiary Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd, BusinessLine reported.

The move marks a planned expansion beyond solar modules into digital infrastructure — developing, owning and operating hyperscale, artificial intelligence and edge data centres. The three companies have not yet started operations, the acquisition is for a cash consideration of Rs 1 lakh for 10,000 shares, and the transaction is expected to complete during financial year 2026-27, according to the filing reported by BusinessLine.

Waaree Energies is among India's largest solar module manufacturers. The results show a familiar pattern this earnings season: strong top-line growth in renewables, with profit under pressure from costs — a divergence Sahi's summary attributed to higher operating expenditure and input-cost pressure, which remains an interpretation rather than a company statement.
