According to the report, the threatening messages were sent to the schools' official email addresses. The email received by Army Public School was reportedly sent at 8.55 am. The messages reportedly contained references to Punjab and Khalistan-related slogans and threatened explosions using improvised explosive devices (IEDs) — these are claims made in the emails, not verified facts.
The North News said the Army Public School email also mentioned the Congress rally scheduled in Sangrur on November 4, featuring party leader Rahul Gandhi. A second report, by The World Opinion, said the email also mentioned railway tracks and trains heading to Delhi on November 1, and named tracks at Amritsar, Firozpur, Ludhiana and Bathinda. That rail detail was reported by The World Opinion alone and has not been independently confirmed.

Schools stayed open, checks began
Neither school declared a holiday and both continued to function, The North News reported, citing a source at APJ School who said staff received the threat in the morning and informed the police. The World Opinion reported that the administration began inspecting the school buildings and that security checks were under way for the safety of students and staff.
The identity of the sender of the latest emails has not been established, The North News said. Neither report mentioned any explosion or any suspicious object being found.
The reports noted that APJ School and several other schools in Jalandhar have received more than five similar bomb-threat emails in the past. Police have been informed and the matter is under inquiry, according to the reports.
