A foreign wire was detected hanging from the overhead equipment at 9.23 am on the slow line between Mulund and Thane, about 31.146 km from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Central Railway public relations director Swapnil Nila said, adding that a block was granted at 10 am to carry out the required work. Commuters said services on the main line were running at least 15 to 20 minutes late.
