Police say the suspects also allegedly offered to link victims' bank accounts to their wallets, supply payment-alert speakers for business accounts and enable fund transfers without a service fee. After gaining victims' confidence, they allegedly persuaded them to share their phone screens and disclose their one-time passwords (OTPs), and investigators believe the information was used to access victims' financial accounts without permission and transfer money to other accounts.
