According to the family's allegation, Bhadauria was returning home after visiting a local fair when a man the family named as Mewalal arrived in a car with three others, including one named as Rajveer. The family alleged the men stopped Bhadauria, assaulted him, and struck him with the car when he tried to flee. The family further alleged that he was then placed on the roof of the car and driven at high speed for approximately 1.5 km, with his hands trapped in the car's window glass. These details are the family's allegations and have not been established by police.
Passersby alerted the police and the family, and Bhadauria was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead, the reports said. The family said the incident was captured by more than 12 CCTV cameras in the area and that a video said to show the incident is circulating on social media; police said they are examining the footage. Family members protested at the police station demanding strict action.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Abhishek Rahul said a written complaint was filed on October 21 by Pradeep Shukla at Hanumant Vihar police station, stating that Bhadauria died after being struck by an unidentified vehicle, Nation Press and Daily Kiran reported. The ACP said the matter is under investigation and further legal action will follow on the basis of the facts established.
