Officers were called just after 9 a.m. — about 9:07 a.m., according to one report — to a disturbance involving a weapon on the 1800 block of Naples Drive. A preliminary investigation indicated that the man assaulted his male neighbor with a machete before running back into his own home and refusing to come out, police said.
