Investigators say the pair are linked to at least three robberies in unincorporated Palm Beach County on Monday, and that the victims targeted were Hispanic, WPTV reported. Deputies say surveillance video and license-plate-reader data helped tie the incidents together as one pattern.

According to investigators, the suspects allegedly used a 2021 gray Ford F-150 bearing “State Trapper” lettering and Florida Fish and Wildlife stickers to approach victims, and allegedly seized property including two 14-karat gold necklaces and a black electric scooter.
Deputies located the truck at a West Palm Beach home, watched the suspects leave with the sheriff's aviation unit, and detained them in a felony traffic stop, investigators say. The scooter was recovered during the stop, according to the sheriff's office account.
The investigation remains active. Detectives are processing evidence and ask anyone with information, or anyone who had a similar unreported encounter, to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
