The recall affects certain 2022 to 2026 Land Rover Range Rover vehicles, according to the auto safety regulator. NHTSA said insufficient drain holes may trap water in the rearview camera and damage it.

What dealers will do

Dealers will drill additional drain holes in the underside of the tailgate trim and replace the camera if needed, NHTSA said, as reported by Reuters. A blank or failed rearview image reduces what a driver can see behind the vehicle when reversing.
