Neighbours along the block told WDRB and WAVE they believed the woman had been trying to get away from a confrontation that started at a nearby apartment complex, and that she was behind the wheel after being shot and drove about a block before crashing into a sedan parked by the curb. Surveillance video captured multiple gunshots and what appeared to be a loud crash, the stations reported. One neighbour said a window of a nearby home was also hit by gunfire; no other injuries were reported in the accounts.
