St. Cloud-based CentraCare plans to bring Stellis Health, a physician-owned medical group in Wright County, into its health system, the organizations announced, according to Becker's Hospital Review and the Minnesota News Network.

Stellis has more than 60 providers and locations in Buffalo and Monticello, and its physicians already provide care at CentraCare-Monticello Hospital. Stellis shareholders have voted to move forward with the plans, Becker's reported.

The organizations will now work to complete final agreements and required regulatory review and approval, with a goal of Stellis becoming part of CentraCare on January 1, 2027, the Minnesota News Network reported. Stellis clinics will continue operating as usual for now, and patients can keep seeing their current providers, Becker's said.

'Bringing our organizations together builds on an already successful relationship and creates opportunities to better connect primary care, specialty care and hospital services,' CentraCare President and CEO Ken Holmen, MD, said in the release cited by Becker's. CentraCare operates nine hospitals and more than 30 clinics across Minnesota, Becker's reported.
