The merge point where Highway 60 meets I-90 east of Worthington is a regular route for freight traffic crossing southern Minnesota. Drivers merging onto the interstate in wet conditions are urged to match speed, check blind spots around large trucks and leave extra following distance — general safety guidance, not a finding about this crash, whose circumstances remain under Patrol review.
