The U.S. government's online detainee locator, checked on Friday night, lists two Indian-born men — Himanshu Sigroha and Neeraj Kaushik — as being in ICE custody at the Henderson Detention Center at 18 East Basic Road in Henderson, Nevada, outside Las Vegas, IANS reported. Their cases are handled by ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) office in Las Vegas. Officials say the two men are Bhau and his associate Neeraj Faridpuria.
No U.S. criminal charges against either man have been found, and neither ICE nor the FBI has issued a public statement on the arrests, according to IANS. The Indian cases against Bhau are allegations and wanted status in India, not U.S. convictions.
Bhau, whose real name is given by IANS as Himanshu Ritoliya and who hails from Rohtak in Haryana, has been the subject of an Interpol Red Notice since August 2023 and is wanted in 18 cases in India, including murder, attempted murder, extortion, intimidation and forgery, according to IANS.

IANS reported Bhau was tracked to Las Vegas and arrested on Thursday, October 22, and that India was seeking to expedite his deportation proceedings, with a team of officers possibly travelling to the United States. Faridpuria was reportedly picked up after he removed an ankle monitor; he had been detained earlier this year and released on bail, according to IANS.
Bhau's gang has been linked by Indian police to high-profile crimes in north India, and the gang claimed responsibility for the firing outside the Gurugram home of YouTuber Elvish Yadav in August 2025 — a claim reported by IANS.
What is solid
- ICE's online detainee locator lists Himanshu Sigroha and Neeraj Kaushik in custody at Henderson Detention Center, according to IANS reporting checked Friday night.
- Bhau is wanted in India in 18 cases and has been under an Interpol Red Notice since August 2023, according to IANS.
What is only claimed
- Which U.S. agency made the arrest: IANS reports ICE custody in Nevada, while Mirror Now and other Indian outlets reported an FBI detention in the Las Vegas area — neither ICE nor the FBI has issued a public statement.
- How soon any deportation to India could happen: Indian officials are seeking to expedite proceedings, according to IANS, but no U.S. timeline has been announced.
IANS noted Indian investigators have increasingly turned to U.S. immigration proceedings rather than formal extradition to bring back wanted gangsters, because removal through the immigration system has often proved faster than extradition under the 1997 India-U.S. extradition treaty.
