LAS VEGAS, Nevada — Two brothers accused of taking part in a deadly robbery at a Las Vegas business complex have been arrested in Minnesota, nearly two weeks after a 45-year-old businessman was shot dead trying to stop the hold-up. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Antwan Terry, 36, and Anthony Terry, 38, were arrested on Tuesday, October 27, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and are being held for extradition back to Nevada. Both men face charges of open murder with a deadly weapon, four counts of robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, four counts of first-degree kidnapping with the use of a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to Metro police. The charges are accusations; both men are presumed innocent unless convicted in court.

Arrested in St. Paul, awaiting the trip back to Las Vegas
Police said the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office arrested both brothers in Saint Paul on Tuesday, October 27. They were booked into the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center, where they remain while awaiting extradition to Las Vegas. Las Vegas police had issued arrest warrants for Antwan and Anthony Terry in the days following the shooting, and detectives identified them as suspects before the arrests in Minnesota, according to police.
What police say happened on October 15
According to Metro police, officers were called at about 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, to a shooting inside a business in the 3400 block of East Flamingo Road, near South Pecos Road, in southeast Las Vegas. Officers found a man inside suffering from a gunshot wound; medical teams arrived and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they believe three men entered the complex and attempted to rob a business. The victim, later identified as Reynaldo Rodis II, tried to stop the robbery and lunged at one of the men, who then shot him, police said. The three men left the scene.

Arrest warrants reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and KTNV added further alleged detail. KTNV reported that the complex included a marijuana shop, a barber shop and a meditation and sound room, and that the robbery grew out of a dispute the day before over a $200 waffle maker that Rodis had thrown out after someone else left it at the location. An employee called the Terry brothers to remove the angry owner of the waffle maker, KTNV reported, citing police; the next day the brothers allegedly returned and ransacked the marijuana room at gunpoint. Police said surveillance footage captured the brothers talking on the phone during the robbery, that Anthony Terry was seen kicking and disconnecting a surveillance camera, and that investigators recovered the hoodie Anthony wore that night. Police do not believe the killing itself was premeditated, KTNV reported.
Who Reynaldo Rodis II was
Family members told 8 News Now that Reynaldo 'Rey' Rodis II, 45, was a third-generation boxing promoter who had multiple businesses, including the one where he was shot and killed. He leaves behind a 19-year-old son. His two dogs were inside the business when he was shot, his family said. FOX5 reported that family members identified Rodis publicly in the days after the shooting while the suspects were still being sought.
The charges, and the man police have not accounted for
Each brother faces one charge of open murder with a deadly weapon, four counts of robbery with the use of a deadly weapon, four counts of first-degree kidnapping with the use of a deadly weapon, and one charge of conspiracy to commit robbery, according to Metro police. Police say three men took part in the robbery attempt, but only Antwan and Anthony Terry have been named, warranted and arrested. Police have not said whether the third man has been identified or is in custody, and neither brother has entered a plea; the allegations in the warrants have not been tested in court.
The Terry brothers are held in the Ramsey County Adult Detention Center in Saint Paul awaiting extradition to Las Vegas, where their cases will proceed in Clark County courts. Police have not announced any arrest of a third suspect. Anyone with information about the October 15 robbery can contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Southern Nevada.
The arrests close the first chapter of a case that began with a midday shooting inside a working business complex on one of Las Vegas's busiest east-side corridors. For the Rodis family, and for the employees who were inside that day, the court process in Las Vegas is where the unanswered questions — including who the third man was — will now be pursued.
