Bow police said responding officers located the driver and determined that he was operating while intoxicated. According to police, the driver refused to exit the truck despite officers' commands and was removed physically and taken into custody after a brief struggle.
Police identified the driver as Edgar Ramirez, 33, of Odessa, Texas. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, subsequent offense; open container of alcohol; and resisting arrest, police said. The charges are allegations, and Ramirez is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
During their investigation, officers found about 170 beer bottles inside the cab of the tractor-trailer, police said. WMUR also reported the arrest, saying police found 170 beer bottles in the truck.

Police said they had been searching for the same tractor-trailer several hours earlier, after it was reported leaving a truck stop with an intoxicated driver, but were unable to locate the truck at that time.
Ramirez is being held pending arraignment on Monday in Concord District Court, police said. No injuries were reported in the accounts published so far, and police have not released further details about the investigation.
