The Attorney General's office said charges were filed this week against five people following a long-term investigation that revealed alleged drug-dealing activities in Dauphin, Blair, Cumberland and Clinton counties. Charged with felony drug trafficking and related offences are Marcus A. Denson, Jovar Hairston, Larry Minnifield, Alisha Massa and Gregory Johnson, the office said. All charges are allegations.

Denson is also charged with allegedly trafficking firearms, including at least one 'ghost gun', and is prohibited from possessing firearms because of a prior felony conviction, according to the announcement, which was also distributed via EIN Presswire.

Massa and Johnson were arrested on Wednesday, the office said, and efforts are ongoing to take the other three defendants into custody. During the investigation, officials seized six firearms and surveilled numerous alleged sales of fentanyl, methamphetamine and other drugs involving the five charged.

Attorney General Sunday said: 'This criminal network directly contributed to the distribution of poisons that ravage families and communities, and made illegal transfers of firearms that threaten the sanctity of neighborhoods.' The cases will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Drug Strike Force Section. Criminal charges are merely allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
