Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect after a 28-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday night, October 22, in the parking garage at Live! Casino in South Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Police Department, as reported by NBC10 Philadelphia and RNB Philly.

Police said the woman was walking to her vehicle on the third floor of the garage at around 11:40 p.m. when an armed man approached her, demanded her belongings and took a tote bag from her shoulder. Casino.org, citing 6abc's first report, said the stolen purse contained $4,000 in cash.

The suspect then fled the scene in a white Honda Accord, police said. Investigators described him as a man in his early 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a thin build and scruffy facial hair.

No injuries were reported, and authorities have not announced any arrests as the investigation continues, both outlets reported.

Anyone with information about the robbery is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip online, police said.
