Bhavikkumar Bharwad's silver-medal finish in the men's 400m T47 final at the Asian Para Games in Nagoya was stripped away on Thursday after he was disqualified for a second-lane infringement under rule TR18.2(c), IANS reported.

Bharwad had crossed the line second in 49.31 seconds at the Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium, behind teammate Dilip Mahadu Gavit, who won gold in 48.27 seconds. Following the disqualification, Japan's Kakeru Ishida, who had finished third in 49.58 seconds, was promoted to the silver medal.
The bronze medal is now shared by Uzbekistan's Marufjon Murodulloev and Sri Lanka's Saman Subasinghe, who both clocked an identical 50.03 seconds — a season-best for both athletes — according to the report.

Gold — Dilip Mahadu Gavit (India), 48.27s. Silver — Kakeru Ishida (Japan), 49.58s. Bronze (shared) — Marufjon Murodulloev (Uzbekistan) and Saman Subasinghe (Sri Lanka), 50.03s. Bhavikkumar Bharwad (India), 49.31s on the track, was disqualified under TR18.2(c).
The disqualification does not change Gavit's result: the gold was his second of these Games, after he also won the men's 100m T47 title in 10.69 seconds, with India's Basil taking silver in that race in 10.72 seconds.
