"Mr Sharad Pawar has been discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic today. He is stable and doing well. He will be travelling directly from the hospital to his residence in Mumbai. We wish him good health and a speedy recovery," the hospital said in an official statement issued by Dr Purvez K Grant, its Chief Cardiologist, Chairman and Managing Trustee.

Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic on Monday, November 2, following complaints of cough and pleuritic chest pain, after he cut short a tour of drought-affected rural areas where he had been meeting farmers. His daughter, Lok Sabha member Supriya Sule, posted on X on Wednesday: "Baba is much better now, and we are now driving to Mumbai," thanking the Ruby Hall team and well-wishers, IANS reported.
